COOKIE
POLICY.
Business established: November 23, 2024
This Cookie Policy describes how cookies and similar browser technologies may be used on the Trading Pips website. The exact technologies active at any time depend on the Shopify theme, store configuration, and services enabled by the site owner.
You can control many non-essential technologies through an available consent tool, where required, and through your browser settings. Blocking some technologies may reduce website functionality.
01What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website or service provider places on a browser or device. They can help a site recognize a session, remember a selection, apply security controls, understand whether a feature works, or measure general use.
Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, scripts, and identifiers associated with a browser or device. In this Policy, “cookies” is used as a convenient collective term unless a distinction is needed.
02Who may set them
First-party cookies are associated with the domain you are visiting. Third-party cookies or comparable identifiers may be set or read by a separate provider whose service is included on the website, such as the ecommerce platform, content-delivery network, security provider, embedded media provider, or analytics service.
Trading Pips does not control every technical operation of an independent provider. Each provider may process information according to its own terms and privacy documentation, subject to the configuration selected by the store owner and applicable law.
03Strictly necessary cookies
Necessary technologies support functions such as secure page delivery, network management, fraud prevention, accessibility, consent preferences, form security, load balancing, and other operations requested by a visitor. The website may not function reliably without them.
Where applicable law permits, necessary technologies may operate without opt-in consent because they support a requested service or legitimate security function. They are not intended to create an advertising profile.
04Preference cookies
Preference technologies remember choices such as language, region, display settings, consent selections, or previously selected website features. Their purpose is to make the next visit more consistent and reduce the need to repeat a selection.
If preference cookies are disabled, the site may still operate, but a selection may need to be made again. A preference is not necessarily stored indefinitely; it may expire or be removed when browser data is cleared.
05Analytics and performance
If enabled, analytics technologies may help the site owner understand aggregated patterns such as page visits, referral sources, approximate device categories, load performance, navigation paths, and feature errors. The information can be used to improve content, troubleshoot issues, and understand general demand.
Analytics should be configured in proportion to the business need and applicable consent requirements. This Policy does not represent that a particular analytics provider is active. Store configuration and the browser’s developer or privacy tools provide the most current technical view.
06Advertising and social technologies
The current website concept does not require social-media links or behavioral-advertising features. If the store owner later enables advertising, campaign measurement, embedded social content, or retargeting, additional cookies and provider disclosures may be necessary.
Where required by law, non-essential advertising technologies should not operate until the visitor makes the relevant consent choice. The website should also provide an accessible way to revisit that choice.
07Shopify platform technology
This website is designed for Shopify. Shopify and its infrastructure providers may use cookies or similar technology to operate storefront functions, maintain security, detect abuse, route traffic, and support site-owner settings. The exact names and duration of platform cookies can change as the service evolves.
For current technical detail, visitors may inspect browser storage and the store owner should review the current Shopify documentation and installed application settings. Applications added to a store may introduce separate technologies that are not part of the code delivered with this website concept.
08Duration
Session cookies generally expire when the browser session ends, although session restoration settings may affect behavior. Persistent cookies remain until their stated expiration, until they are replaced, or until the user deletes them. Local storage can remain longer unless cleared by the website or browser.
Duration should be limited to what is reasonably needed for the relevant function. Security, consent, and preference records may use different periods because their purposes differ.
09Your choices
You can use browser settings to view, block, restrict, or delete cookies. Many browsers allow different rules for first-party and third-party technologies or for private browsing. Device operating systems may also provide privacy and tracking controls.
If a cookie-consent interface is shown, use it to manage the categories presented. Clearing site data may also clear the saved consent choice, causing the website to ask again. Browser-level blocking may override a website selection and may cause forms, preferences, or security functions to behave differently.
10Do Not Track and preference signals
Browsers may send Do Not Track or other privacy preference signals. Because technical standards, legal requirements, and provider support differ, the site may not respond identically to every signal. Where a legally recognized opt-out preference signal applies to an active processing practice, it should be handled as required by applicable law.
Trading Pips does not sell personal information for money. If future store configuration introduces activity that legally requires an opt-out, the site owner should add the necessary notice and mechanism.
11How to review active technology
The most accurate list of technology active during a particular visit is available through the browser itself. Modern browsers provide controls to inspect stored cookies, local storage, domains contacted, and expiration dates. The list can vary by device, region, consent choice, and store configuration.
Store administrators should periodically audit the Shopify theme, installed applications, tag managers, integrations, and consent settings. Removing visual content from a page does not always remove a separately installed script, so configuration should be reviewed directly.
12Changes to this Policy
This Policy may be updated when website technology, providers, business operations, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. A material change may also be highlighted through a website notice or an updated consent interface when appropriate.
The Privacy Policy provides additional information about personal information, security, retention, disclosures, and privacy requests.
