PRIVACY
POLICY.
Business established: November 23, 2024
This Privacy Policy explains how Trading Pips handles personal information in connection with this website, business inquiries, proposals, consulting engagements, and ordinary business administration.
We aim to collect only information reasonably needed to communicate, evaluate a requested service, perform authorized consulting work, maintain records, and protect the website and business.
01Scope of this policy
This Policy applies to personal information handled through the Trading Pips website, direct business communications, client onboarding, project delivery, billing records, and related support. It does not govern the independent privacy practices of hosting providers, payment services, cloud platforms, or websites operated by other organizations.
When Trading Pips processes information contained in client materials solely to perform a contracted service, the client remains responsible for confirming that it has authority to provide that information and for giving any notices required by its own privacy obligations.
02Information you provide
We may receive identifiers and contact details such as your name, business name, professional role, email address, phone number, mailing address, and preferred communication method. We may also receive information about a requested service, your business operations, tools, vendors, internal practices, project goals, schedule, and budget or billing contact.
During an authorized engagement, you may provide policies, process descriptions, screenshots, configuration information, vendor lists, access-role descriptions, training needs, incident-planning materials, or other business records needed for the agreed scope. Please do not provide passwords, private cryptographic keys, full payment-card details, unnecessary government identifiers, medical information, or data unrelated to the project.
03Website and device information
The website platform and service providers may automatically process technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, language, referring page, pages viewed, approximate region, timestamps, cookie identifiers, and information used to maintain a session or protect against abuse.
This technical information may be used to operate the website, diagnose performance, understand general usage, prevent fraud or malicious traffic, preserve security, and comply with legal obligations. The precise data available depends on the Shopify store configuration and any tools the site owner enables.
04Inquiry form notice
The website may display an interactive request form that validates entries and presents an on-screen confirmation. The current page code does not by itself guarantee server transmission, email delivery, or permanent storage. A confirmation means only what the active store configuration supports at the time of submission.
If the store owner connects the form to Shopify, email, a workflow provider, or another approved submission service, the entered information may be transmitted to that provider for delivery and business follow-up. Do not treat an on-screen confirmation as proof that urgent or time-sensitive information has been received. This service does not offer emergency incident response.
05How information is used
We may use personal information to respond to inquiries; verify identity or authority; evaluate whether a requested engagement is appropriate; prepare proposals and agreements; schedule meetings; perform authorized consulting; create reports and policies; provide follow-up support; issue invoices; maintain accounting and business records; enforce agreements; prevent misuse; and comply with applicable law.
We may also use limited contact information to communicate about a current or previous inquiry or engagement. We do not use sensitive client materials for unrelated advertising. We do not sell personal information in exchange for money.
06Legal and operational bases
Depending on the context and applicable law, information may be processed because it is needed to take requested steps before a contract, perform a contract, comply with legal obligations, protect legitimate business and security interests, establish or defend legal claims, or act with consent.
Where consent is the applicable basis, it may be withdrawn for future processing. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing and may limit the ability to provide a requested service when the information is necessary for that service.
07Information sharing
Information may be shared with service providers that support website hosting, business email, file storage, communications, scheduling, payments, accounting, document delivery, security, or professional administration. Providers are given information reasonably needed for their function and are expected to handle it according to their agreements and applicable law.
Information may also be disclosed to professional advisers; to a successor in a lawful merger, sale, financing, or reorganization; to protect the rights, safety, systems, or property of Trading Pips, clients, or others; or when required by law, subpoena, court order, or valid governmental request. Client confidential information is not shared with unrelated parties for their independent marketing.
08Cookies and similar technology
Cookies and comparable storage may be used to remember preferences, maintain site functionality, preserve security, measure general performance, and support features provided by the website platform. Some cookies are necessary for requested functions, while others may depend on store settings or consent choices.
More information about cookie categories, choices, and typical duration appears in the Cookie Policy. Browser controls can block or delete cookies, but doing so may affect functionality. We do not respond to every browser privacy signal in the same way because standards and legal requirements continue to develop.
09Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, including communication, project delivery, contractual obligations, security, dispute resolution, tax and accounting requirements, and applicable limitation periods. Retention depends on the information type, sensitivity, project status, legal requirements, and whether an ongoing business need remains.
When information is no longer reasonably needed, it may be deleted, anonymized, or securely archived subject to applicable backup cycles and technical limitations. Clients should maintain their own authoritative copies of policies, reports, configurations, and business records.
10Security practices
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the nature of the information and the size of the business. Measures may include access limitation, account authentication, business-device safeguards, secure service providers, record minimization, and controlled sharing.
No website, transmission, storage system, or business process can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for using an appropriate communication channel, protecting your own accounts and devices, and avoiding unnecessary sensitive information in an initial inquiry. If you believe information was sent to the wrong recipient or an account has been compromised, notify us promptly using the contact information below.
11Your choices and privacy requests
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, withdrawal of consent, or information about processing and disclosure. These rights can be subject to exceptions for legal obligations, security, privileged information, recordkeeping, fraud prevention, and legal claims.
A request should identify the person making it, describe the records involved, and provide a reliable method for response. We may request proportionate verification before acting. Authorized agents must provide evidence of authority. We will not discriminate against a person for making a valid privacy request.
12State-specific disclosures
Residents of certain United States jurisdictions may have additional privacy rights. Trading Pips does not sell personal information for money and does not knowingly share sensitive client information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If a site configuration introduces advertising or analytics practices requiring additional choices, the store owner should provide the legally required notice and controls.
Because legal thresholds and definitions vary, not every statutory right applies to every business or request. We will evaluate a properly submitted request under the law applicable to the requester and the relevant processing activity.
13International access
The business is based in Arizona, United States. If you access the website or send information from another country, information may be processed in the United States or other locations where service providers operate. Those locations may have privacy rules different from those in your jurisdiction.
Before providing information subject to contractual, governmental, sector-specific, or international transfer restrictions, contact us to confirm whether the proposed handling method is appropriate for the engagement.
14Children’s privacy
The website and consulting services are intended for business users and are not directed to children under thirteen. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted personal information may contact us to request review and appropriate deletion.
15Policy changes
This Policy may be updated to reflect changes in website configuration, services, business operations, providers, or law. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes may also be communicated through an appropriate website notice or direct communication when required.
Use of the website after an update is subject to the revised Policy. Active client engagements may also be governed by privacy or confidentiality terms in their signed project documents.
